Dozer Day!

A few weekend's ago Ty and Matt had a little Father Son outing to Dozer Day. Essentially the people who put it on get all the big Diggers, Back Hoes, Dump Trucks, Fire Trucks and Bull Dozers they can find and line them up at a Quarry. In my opinion you can't go wrong with the biggest things on wheels to impress a 2 year old.

They set up a bunch of different activities and games for the kids to do. They give them all hard hats (really just plastic) and every booth or activity they go to they get a sticker. There are tons of activities, like rock painting or going for a Dump Truck ride (think hay ride but in the back of a dump truck)
They even let the kids use a digger and dig up stuff!

Ty was really excited to sit in the Fire Truck too, almost every time he sees one he looks for Uncle Preston... (Uncle Preston is working on getting a firefighting job, but that doesn't mean Ty doesn't already think he is one)
When Ty got back and was napping little sister thought she was such a big girl by wearing her brothers hat, I tried to get one of her wearing it but she took it off at the last second, hence why the picture is blurry.

The boys were gone for a few hours while Maylee and I did some grocery shopping, napped and watched some basketball.

Ty and Matt both had a fun time with one another and came back with a whole bunch of goodies. I'm thinking there will be quite a few Father Son outings in their future which I think all parties will enjoy immensely.

How fun is that! Madeline's school did something similar, the kids really like seeing these big trucks up close.
