Picture Dump Day 2.
This day we visited California Adventure Park. It wasn't near as busy as it was the day previous at Disneyland. We got through everything we wanted to do too, it was perfect!
Ready to go on Toy Story Mania. We all REALLY liked this ride, it was our first one I think...
While waiting for the kid swap on Goofy's Fly School ride, Goofy himself came out to see the kids! They were so excited! No hugs from Ty but a "HI GOOFY!" was said at least.
Sierra was too nervous to even go over and say Hi so we took a picture, me and her, from afar. Don't ask me what those weird reflections are from on my face.
Kids together.
We went on California Screamin' that was a BLAST! Then most of the families went on Mickey's Fun wheel, a HUGE Ferris Wheel with swinging cars and stationary cars... I opted out since I am DEATHLY afraid of heights. I took May over to the shops and she tried on a few ridiculously overpriced headbands :)
There they are HIGH HIGH HIGH UP! I hear Ty was scared to Death too but tried to fake it since everyone else was trying to fake it too. Also Elena was scared out of her mind and just shook with a blank look on her face the whole time. SCARY RIDE!
On our way over to another ride we stopped off for a cool treat, the weather was about 80 degrees, toasty for what we were used to, Ty got an AWESOME Mickey Ice Cream Pop, he LOVED it and wouldn't share with anyone.
I believe we rode Ariel's undersea adventure in there somewhere. We really liked that one too.
We went to play in "bug land" for a while then headed over to Monster's Inc. while those that wanted to ride Tower of Terror went there. Ty and Suzanne were 9+playing...
If that is what you call it.
Baby Dean and Grandpa
The girlies waiting in line.
After Monsters we headed back for a rest and dinner time. We ate then headed back to Dinseyland to catch the Soundsational Parade and the fireworks. The whole crew waiting for the Parade to begin.
Matt and May.
Lots of waves and kisses were blown Ty, Laycee, Baylee, Jason and Sierra's way.
We loved the Lion King float.
Ty and Matt watching, Ty pointed out everything he loved.
One of his favorites was Peter Pan and Captain Hook.
After the Parade we headed over to RIDE Peter Pan.
We did a lot of Double Stroller action.
Riding Peter Pan with Aunt Zan and Preston.
We found what we thought was the PERFECT spot for the Fireworks... Turns out it was a TERRIBLE spot right behind a bunch of trees!! So we all jumped up and moved to a spot where we couldn't see the Castle but we could see the Fireworks. On the Fourth of July Ty was scared of Fireworks, this time he was totally fine with them in fact he liked them a lot!
We got more snacks, Churros... the scent wafting all over the park was driving us Churro Crazy. We just had to have some! I told Ty to say cheese, he grunted instead.
May and Elena watching the fireworks.
After that Matt stayed a bit longer with the grown ups while I took the kids back home to sleep. I don't think we got the kids in bed before 9:30 any time during the trip. They were TIRED!
Tomorrow's post is the last day at Disneyland, Colton and Maddy joined us!
