Halloween!

We'll be spending Halloween with the family in Idaho, All of them... back and forth tons of parties and fun! We can't wait :)

Here is Ty's costume, well kind of. We are missing his rope and his Texas Belt Buckle. He'll be wearing a different shirt too. It's just a mini preview. Aren't the Chaps great? My mom made them! We borrowed the vest from Utah mom (aka Head Nurse) too :) Love it! I think he is the cutest little Cowboy Ty EVER! A costume he wont look back on in 16 years and think "Ahh mom why did you put me in that!" Father approved even :)

Also my cousin did my hair today. She cut and colored it. While we are up in Rexburg my talented S.I.L is taking our family pictures for our Christmas cards and I wanted a little change. I actually thought about going darker but I just can't bring myself to do it. SOOO Instead I found a picture of Kristen Bell, I was so envious of her hair in When in Rome and thought maybe I could pull it off.  I still can't decide if I can or not but it's a little change from what I have had for 6 or so years. The bangs are hopefully long enough to pull back whenever or wear them down when I want. We'll see how it all goes, I'm not too sure how to style them yet. Thanks Trish for your talent and expertise!

Ty Stuff

Ty likes to run with his walker all around the house... He loves to play with cars and usually makes good car noises too. Notice when he runs into things with his walker he makes a crashing noise. He also says "Uh Oh" all the time. At least it isn't "NO" and "MINE" yet... those words yelled by little ones to me is so obnoxious. ANYWAYS, enjoy the long boring video of Ty running around.

Also Ty helped me bake cookies the other day. He REALLY liked it. I gave him a spoon and he took a big scoop of creamed butter and brown sugar and ate the big clump off his spoon. He liked it because he tried to go back for seconds. Yuck! I let him have a few Chocolate Chips too so he was a happy camper.

TMT: Listening

I can't remember if I posted it on here or not, but a while back I came across a quote by Stephen Covey, "Most people do not listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply."

The longer I think about this quote I realize why people should understand first then reply not the other way around, that is unless your reply is to get clarification for your understanding.

I think about this quote almost daily. In my family (well most in the extended family) everyone interrupts everyone, when we're in a big group everyone gets to chatting and pretty much the person talking the loudest wins. Somehow that is how we communicate. We have a grand time doing it too! I can communicate that way very easily and always have. I never took offense when I was interrupted and I knew if I had something important to say I had to say it fast and loud. HA, sounds funny huh.

Well marrying into my husbands family from the south, this isn't the case. In FACT if you talk over someone, interrupt someone or cut someone off then that is considered quite rude. PLUS people from the south talk  slower and for me that was at a crawling pace since I talk so FAST!

Long story short, I had to realize this with my husband and his family, while my husband had to be patient with my learning curve as well. I have tried to become a better listener and understander rather than a quick replier, if that makes sense.

Now that I have a kid it's even MORE important to listen to understand because his way of communication isn't quite words yet and when it is words I REALLY have to be listening to hear it. I know this is something important as he grows too. Kids are more likely to talk and open up to their parents if they just listen to understand rather than pass a quick judgment or smart reply.

Reminds me of this clip from the movie Get Smart. Cracks me up every time...

Anyways, Listening... it's what this life is all about I think.

I am by no means perfect and I think I may have posted something like this before, but just so you know I am working on it... still.

Weekend Craziness

I never took out my camera...
Lame... I think Michaela did though... maybe she'll post some pictures? I don't know.

Quick Bullet points,
~Friday Braden opened his Mission Call, he is going to Mexico, somewhere super south bordering Guatemala, Spanish Speaking (duh). He'll leave the middle of February and report to the Provo MTC. Matt and I will be able to pick him up from the SLC airport and bring him down to send him off. We are excited for Braden!

Also on Friday Jordan, Michaela and Calin came down for a visit. Ty and Calin LOVED playing with one another. They were so cute all the time, they played with balls, cars, watched movies and just ran around after one another the entire weekend. It was wonderful for Ty to have a buddy around.

I made crock pot Stroganoff for dinner, all though I like this recipe way more (with a few Spence taste preference changes) should have just made that one, but it was good none the less.

~Saturday we had various obligations in the morning (Football and Volleyball games to coach, both games won and a bountiful basket to pick up) so I made a quick Baked Oatmeal breakfast for everyone. Then we went to the BYU vs. Wyoming game that started off rainy but shortly after kick off it cleared up. We won the game all though it was a closer ending score then we wanted it to be!

We headed back after the game to spend the evening with our family in town. I made Broccoli Cheese Soup and we watched the Giants win the pennant. Yippee Go Giants, on to the world series!  Matt can't decide who to root for now, the Rangers or the Giants...

~Sunday the family left to go back home and we headed to church, my mom joined us at our ward. It was the primary program. So cute! Ty wasn't such a gem though... good thing I am the nursery leader or else that would have been a LONG day at church!

After Church we made a Salad and some yummy Caramel Apples to take to Suzanne's house for dinner. We ate and then dashed to Choir practice where we are starting to get a hang of Handel's Messiah... still super tricky but at least I recognize which song we are singing :) We do have some Motab choir members in our Chior too, I dont think we'll sound quite like the link when we perform but we will have an orchestra too!
Nate took this of Kelly and Ashlyn just after she was born I stole it from their blog :)
Also we found out that little Ashlyn was born yesterday too! We are so excited to head up there this Halloween weekend to meet her and spend time with them before they leave for Nate's clinical affiliation in Oregon.

Special Dress

A few months ago, Matt and I were given his mothers wedding dress. For those of you who don't know, Matt's mother Holly passed away of cancer about 10 and a half years ago. We took the dress and got thinking about what to do with it. We asked all his siblings and all our S.I.L's about what they wanted to do with it and we all decided. We would take it apart and sew a little baby girl's blessing dress out of the material. Holly always wanted a girl (she had 5 boys!) so it was only appropriate. Coincidentally Matt's older brother Nate and his wife Kelly are having a girl, Ashlyn, who is due any day now...She'll be the first girl among her 2 boy cousins and two brothers! We are so excited. Now she gets a pretty little white dress in which to be blessed. A little piece of Grandma Holly since she can't  be there in the flesh (of course we all know she'll be there in spirit).

My mom was happy to make the dress. Doesn't she have wonderful sewing skills? I think it is perfectly simple and timeless, it will look fantastic on all the little Spence ladies on their special blessing day.

Guess WHAT!

Guess who ate his first cupcake today? I just let him have at it. Right after his first bite he had so much frosting up his nose that I had to clean him up... so this is after the initial wipe down. He loved it! Good thing I sent to rest of the cupcakes off with others so we don't have any more that he would beg to eat!

Guess what we got in the mail today? Yeah the print is pretty small, so I'll just tell you. It's my B.I.L's MISSION CALL! A long time ago he had our address in the system and he forgot to change it... so since it was sent yesterday from SLC Church headquarters of course WE got it TODAY! I was flipping through the new ESPN magazine when I noticed Ty holding a big white envelope. It's not uncommon for Ty to open our mail, in fact usually I hand everything to him and when he is done looking at it he gives it to me. This time I grabbed the envelope from him and noticed the church emblem in the corner. I thought "WOW, we got those Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert Tickets fast!" I was just about to rip when I thought, this is a weird envelope to send them in. That's when I saw it... the word.... ELDER! Yeah that's not us... SO I called and CALLED and texted and CALLED. He finally called me back and told me that we couldn't open it, (DANG) but to mail it to him. I don't have a car today so Suzanne is going to hopefully get me to the post office before it closes tonight to get him his call overnight, which translates to Friday probably. So we'll all find out then I guess. Unless I crack and open it myself! Mwahahaha okay I wouldn't do that, but I am SO tempted! Too bad Ty didn't open it before I noticed... then I could have just blamed it on him! :)

TMT: Bad Mom Day

Wait did I type bad mom day? I meant to type week!  I think I needed this shirt for a few days, and you can bet I would have worn it every day...unwashed. (yeah that's how bad it was)

When you sign up to be a mom no one tells you just how mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually trying it is, I mean I only have one kid and I had a melt down. I was so tired of being the one everyone (who is everyone anyways?) depended on...for food, clothing, love, structure, teaching, bathing, cleaning, planning, etc., we all know this list can go on forever.

It wasn't triggered by anything really, at least I can't pin point a specific situation that started the downward spiral of the mind numbing foggy brain.

I'm not talking the typical "Ugh I am so tired I need a break for a minute/hour/afternoon" type break down, we're talking the; I didn't answer or return one single phone call, pay any bills, cook any meals and avoided doing any and all work beyond what I HAD to do for about a 4 days. I don't know what it was but I was just sick and tired! I didn't want to worry about any one or any thing including myself. I wore sweats all day, unless I HAD to get dressed. It seemed that everything I had ever felt guilty about or worried about in my entire life came back from the grave to haunt me. Were talking the dumbest stupid stuff, like forgetting to meet with a friend or not apologizing soon enough for something. My brain was in a mystifying depression fog that crowded out any and all rational thought. I cried over nothing everything and I physically felt sore. I had no desire to do a thing. Ty watched so many movies those few days that I am ashamed to admit it. I did nothing but lie on the couch and clutch a pillow. The thing was Ty wasn't even being difficult. He was the normal, happy go lucky, anything goes kid he has always been!

Why did this happen? I don't know... I guess even the strongest of us (not me, but others, I am DEFINITELY not in the strongest mom category) have to have a few off days I guess. Mine just happened to be all in a row.

How did I get out of it you ask? Well first off I told my husband... you see he was at school these days and wasn't around for the worst of it. It was Mid-terms for him too so he was especially busy. Plus, he wouldn't be suspicious of the constant sweats I was wearing because he gets home so late and leaves so early. I am sure he noticed the lack of dishes, laundry, cleaning, cooking... but being the sweet guy he is, he didn't say anything and just did some of it himself. Anyways, I told him finally and he gave me some much needed positive encouragement... forcing a little more rational thought into my brain. This cracked open the door.

Second, I got back into the usual routine (don't know why I stopped in the first place) When Ty woke up we read scriptures and prayed, before he went to be we read and prayed some more...  this pushed it open even further.

Third I prepared a lesson for church, let us be honest here... I teach NURSERY were talking 18 mo.-3 year old kids... how in depth can the lesson be? I'll clue you in and tell you it wasn't at all but it was just the basic breath of fresh air lesson that helped me... my fog was almost all the way gone.

Fourth, we went outside! You know being cooped up inside all day with a running 1 year old gets a little crazy and monotonous (how can those words be meant as synonyms...) taking a walk to the park and just sitting in the sunshine while Ty played was so nice. Just recently I have found he is old enough to really play at the park you know...he is a maniac on slides, he goes down by himself!

See here you all are thinking, Well DUH Mickie, of course praying, going outside, reading your scriptures and talking to your husband about it would help... why did you wait so long? I DON'T KNOW! But now I do know the proper course of action if it ever happens again! (This sort of foggy depression has never happened to me before hopefully it never returns) I needed to get back to the basics, build myself up spiritually and physically and the mental and emotional part would swiftly follow the trend! Mind you, I am completely over this now, and have been for a few weeks. :)

However what I want to know is, how many of you (mom's) readers out there have off days? What do you do to shake them? How often do they happen for you? Are you one of the STRONGEST I referred to and just plain don't have off days? If so, what is your secret

Seriously people, I want to know...  Let's all benefit from your awesomeness.

What would you do?

Last night I had the pleasure of waking up to our doorbell ringing at 3:00 am. (Back story I recently found out that some homes a short distance away had their cars broken into just a few weeks ago in the middle of the night) I rolled over and tried to decide if I REALLY heard the doorbell or if it was part of a dream. I decided it was real so I looked out our big bedroom window for a while to see what was going on. Low and behold (you guessed it) I see 3 little boys dressed in dark colors, running across the street to ring another doorbell and run off. I woke up Matt, (which took some time) while they went to yet another neighbors door to ding dong ditch.

Matt put some clothes on and walked outside to find two of the three hiding across the street. The second he stepped outside they knew they were caught. He called them down while I watched and listened from the window. He told the boys to come with him and that he was walking them home.

Long story short the older kid, who was 12 decided that Matt didn't need to know where he lived so he walked Matt all around the subdivision and even tried to tell his younger brother to go somewhere else, before Matt figured out that he wasn't walking home. Upon realizing this, Matt immediately walked them straight back over to our house where he called me down stairs to decide what to do. While walking he found out that the boys were brothers, ages 12 and 8 and were home alone for the night. They were left to care for their 5 year old sister who was asleep at home (now alone). They asked if Matt was going to tell their mom or worse call the Cops and Matt couldn't decide so he wanted me to decide. (We found it interesting that they were brothers, it was VERY obvious that these boys had different fathers. They had NO physical resemblance to one another at all)

I got dressed and spoke with these little trembling boys standing on our doorstep, who kept saying "Promise we won't it no more!" (If they used proper grammar I MAY have been a little kinder, but come ON it was 3:00 am!) I told them that because of their little fun I have a baby upstairs awake and now I don't get to go back to sleep for a few hours. I asked them how THEY would feel if someone woke THEM up at 3:00 am when they had just fallen asleep. I asked them where their parents were and the oldest told me his mother was at his Aunt's house for the night and he was left to watch his siblings. Matt said "Wow way to be a good example to your younger brother, huh?" I told him I thought it was illegal for him to be home alone with no adult at his age, especially watching such young siblings. He asked if we were going to call the Cops. (I know the legal babysitting age is 13, not sure about siblings watching siblings overnight though)

I told Matt not to call the Cops but to just walk them home. They were so scared they walked straight home with Matt who watched them walk inside their house (where the OTHER friend was waiting that Matt didn't catch)

Matt came back and told me he had them promise him they wouldn't do it again, that they would stay inside the rest of the night and had them shake with him on it.

As I laid there in bed trying to fall back asleep, I wondered if we did it right... should we have called the Cops? Is it okay for an irresponsible 12 year old to be watching his 8 and 5 year old siblings for the night? Is it even LEGAL? Yeah the doorbell ringing was the minor problem in my mind. Should we have asked the kid what is mothers phone number was and had him call HER (payback for waking up the whole neighborhood) while we were standing there to tell her what happened rather then her finding out from the Cops? Should we have gotten the friend to walk us to his house and wake up HIS parents to tell THEM what was going on? All the questions... I don't know what the right way was. I think we handled it okay since there were 2 adults involved in the situation... Matt never yelled but the boys knew he wasn't happy about the lying and evasiveness until they finally broke down to realize this guy isn't going to leave them alone. What made them think that 3:00 am was an okay hour to gallivant around the community? I worry about the mom, does she have any idea her children would do this? How OFTEN does she leave her children like that? Does she really think her 12 year old is capable of taking care of the rest of his siblings? Was the 12 year old just covering for his mom by saying she was at his Aunts house? Was she really somewhere else? Does it even matter where she was? (Matt just told me about THIS story the day previous, which had me wondering...)

Regardless, I doubt they'll be ding dong ditching our house again any time soon...

What would you have done?

P.S. If it were my child and I found out about it, (granted they wouldn't be home alone, this is on the pretense they left without my knowledge) they would have been made to write hand written apology notes, hand deliver them to each home they did it to, while verbally apologizing to the owner with me accompanying them... OH and they would have been grounded for AT LEAST a week.

Farm and Jazz Game

Yesterday we had a busy day! We went to Farnsworth Apple Cider Mill and Farm for the Great Pumpkin Festival. Really it was your typical elementary school carnival with silly little toys and games for the kids that you have to have tickets to play. It was fun enough. I think they could have made it a TON better with better organization, different music more appealing to kids (since when is Tom Petty's Space Cowboy good for kids 0-9?) and better help. Some of the people helping were great but others were young teenagers who just walked around and complained.
Ty found a car to sit in while I pushed him around. He liked it a ton, I didn't like pushing him for forever... I think he could of sat in there for a few hours if someone pushed him.
I tried to get some cute pumpkin shots in the hay, Ty didn't cooperate. He just wanted to pull out the straw.
"Mom I don't need to look at you, look at this Hay!"
"Uhhh you want me to what? Sit up there and smile? I don't think so...."
Ty loves to swing... yet another thing he could do for hours.

ANYWAYS All in all I think Ty liked walking around wherever he wanted, playing in the dirt, going on a hay ride and drinking as much Apple Cider as he could get his hands on. Jason and Sierra had fun playing with the basketball hoop, jumping in the jumpy house, and the hay ride. We topped it off with some Halloween Lofthouse sugar cookies, and as I previously mentioned some apple cider. The apple cider was AMAZING. No sugar added, not from concentrate, straight apple cider- it tasted like you bit into the most delightful juicy apple EVER! Isn't that what it is supposed to taste like? I am tempted to go back out just to buy some more cider it was so tasty!

I couldn't even get the kids attention away from the cookies and cider! Check out Ty's Cider mustache.

After the farm we went home and Suzanne told us she had two extra tickets to the Jazz game that evening. Sweet! So we went over and ate some dinner with Suzanne and Preston and went to the game. It was against the SUNS even (I'm a Nash fan). The game was good, all though the Jazz won. That was okay since I didn't know which team to root for anyways. All of us enjoyed the popcorn and drinks galore in the suite as well. Ty got restless around the 3rd quarter but other then that is was so much fun. Thanks for the invite Readings!
What is Ty thinking about? I have no idea but he was excited to get his picture taken... The Jazz dancers were nice girls.
Up the Escalator to the box suites!
Yeah I look like a Goob but Matt and Ty didn't look silly... Here is the view from our seats.
Ty enjoying some popcorn. I don't know why his eye reflected white... kinda creepy!

Speaking of creepy, I still don't know what Ty should be for Halloween. Any ideas or costumes you have had for a 18 month boy?

Back Pictures

Wow it has been a while since I posted anything! Yikes! I have been super busy with random things and my boss's are all out of town, so when that happens it makes my job MUCH busier!

Anyways here a few pictures I found that I haven't posted yet:

We are soaking up the rest of the warmer days outside. Ty LOVES to ride the scooter but of course he can't do it himself so we push him. Boy does it make our backs hurt bending over like that.

Ty is a blanket kid, if he can, he'll take one with him where ever he goes. I usually give him his smaller one but this day he insisted on this one... he could barely walk a few steps with out tripping on it. He kinda reminds me of Linus from Peanuts when he does this.
When I make dinner I make enough for leftovers, Matt packs it up and has it for lunch or dinner the next day too. All those containers he left at his desk and brought home after a week or so, yeah they were smelly. He knew I wouldn't be able to handle opening them so he did it himself. After the first container smelled so bad he was about to puke, he decided to tape a sock with a dryer sheet inside it to his nose. He was STILL gagging. Yeah that's what happens when you leave remnants of Chicken Broccoli Alfredo in your desk for a week.
Ty isn't a HUGE hat wearer, sometimes he likes them, sometimes he doesn't. Well MOST of the time he doesn't like them. Suzanne put this hat on him on our way down to the game and I was cracking up. Suzanne called it his "Gomer" look. He's wearing a BYU shirt, Hallelujah we got a win on Saturday before TCU flicks us off their cleats this Saturday. :)
My S.I.L Michaela threw my other S.I.L. Kelly a baby shower for her little lady Ashlyn due for an appearance any day now. We are so excited to have the FIRST Spence GIRL cousin in the family. I couldn't make it to the shower but wanted to help so I made a diaper cake. It doubles as decoration and a cute present! They are super easy to put together. Michaela did an AWESOME job with the Baby Shower too with some really fun, different games and cute decor. Go here or here to see more.

Other then that Suzanne and I joined the Herriman Community Chorus. It's QUITE the adventure having never been in a choir before outside of church. We are practicing for our Christmas concert which is exciting because I get to sing Christmas before Halloween :) BUT we are singing a few pieces from Handel's Messiah and those songs are running me over with a dump truck... SO HARD! Well having never actually HEARD all of Handel's Messiah that makes it tricky too. Youtube has been my special friend and Suzanne and I are quick learners though so hopefully we pick it up soon!

Matt is on Fall Break right now so Ty and I are getting as much Matt time as we can before the semester picks back up. Matt studied hard for his mid-terms and did well on all of them. Lets hope for a great finishing stretch of the semester. He applies for graduation the first of November, (yes you read that right) there is a finish in sight! Yippee!!! Then we'll  have him to ourselves for a few years before graduate school. We can't wait!

To Ty

Dear Ty,

I love to hear your squishy feet pad along after me on the kitchen floor

I love how you can spot a horse in a picture from a mile away

I love how you get so excited when Dad comes home

I love how you copy everything I do

I love it when you wake up and what little hair you have sticks up on the sides

I love when you grab my hands and cup them around your cheeks when you are tired

I love how you wave hello to me all the time

I love how you do a little dance and sing a little song when you like what I made you for dinner

Actually I love how you like anything I make you for dinner, thank you for being such a good eater

I love how curious you are about everything outside

I love when you grab your blanket and walk up stairs yourself when you think it's nap time

I love to hear you playing by yourself and laughing

Actually I love to hear you laugh

I love it when you say "Mom, MOM, Mom, MOM, MOM" and when I say "Yes Ty?" You babble along saying something I don't understand.

I love how when you throw a ball you think it's awesome

I love when you run over to me or anyone else and say "HI!"

I love how you walk around with my cell phone and pretend you are talking to someone

I love handing you an entire banana and watching you eat the whole thing as fast as I would

I love your progression of cool items... first a rock, then a big stick, but most important a big leaf with a long stem. Any will do though.

I love to see you sitting reverently while we pray

I love your big kisses and gentle hugs and to hear you say love you

I secretly love to hear that you get upset for a minute when I leave

I love to see you sleeping sprawled out in your crib, you look SO big

I love it when you sleep in to 9 am rather then your usual 8 am

I love to see you try to play with any kid, any age. You are so naturally social!

I love how thoroughly boy you are, it's all about growling, grunting, exploring, discovering, dirt, running and throwing

I love to watch you learn something new and grow everyday

I love everything about you! I know sometimes it can get to be a long day with just you and me, but the happy times far outweigh the sad times with you. Thanks for being such a naturally happy boy and thanks for loving me back, makes being a mom so much easier!

Fablehaven Author Brandon Mull

Last night Kristin invited me to join her at the Library for a little meet the Author type presentation by Brandon Mull. He wrote the whole Fablehaven series, The Candy Shop War and Pingo. I really liked the Fablehaven series. He told us a little about himself a where he has gotten to go do presentations on his books. He shared a few stories about how he came up with his characters or different details in the books. He shared insight to the writers world of deadlines and release dates etc. It was very cool. Kristin and I noticed quite the array of readers too, he had an eclectic crowd to say the least. In front of us sat a couple in their 60's or 70's, across the row sat a 18 or 19 year old girl that video recorded the entire thing (socks with Velcro sandals on and all I checked Youtube, she hasnt posted it yet haha), next to us sat two 10 year old girls, and the front row was littered with Boy scouts (maybe it was a boy scout activity) aged around 12 I would guess. Luckily we got there early, it was standing room only with over 100 people there in the back area of the library.

After his presentation he had time for Q&A where he was asked some silly questions and some serious questions, one of which was about whether or not the Fablehaven series will be made into a movie. He said not right now, but he has been renting the rights out... More insight to the movie biz. Apparently Authors rent the rights to the book for somewhere in the 10's of thousands for 18 months to a producer, during the 18 months the producer has someone work on screen play, script writing etc. After the 18 months the producer has 3 options, first to buy the rights for somewhere in the 100's of thousands or millions, rent the rights for another 18 months, or let it lapse. He said he has rented the rights out but all have let it lapse. I would imagine it's because this wouldn't be an inexpensive film to make since it is a ton of Fantasy! He said they are currently shopping a few more producers, some of which are big names... he said hopefully in the near future things will roll with the movie situation. For you curious people out there he said brandonmull.com is the best place to look for info like that.

The first book of his new 3 part series comes out in March called the Beyonders, he shared the first pages of the prologue with us, it sounds pretty interesting. Kristin said she would buy it so I'll borrow it from her after she is done. It's another fantasy type book.

After all that he had a book signing. Kristin and I mosied over, which we ended up in the back of the line. A ton of kids rushed the line where their parents went with them. I have a feeling there were quite a few talkers because for the first 30 minutes the line inched then by the last 10 minutes the line was flying. Kristin and I only had about 10 people behind us. By the time we got to him he was probably tired! Anyways he signed the fifth book in the Fablehaven series for me and Kristin got the first one signed for her family. He was a nice fellow, I caught him of guard with a photo, I guess I should have asked but I was trying to hurry and not take too much more time since the library was closed and everyone was waiting on the 12 of us left in line.

We did however ask him to re-visit the Fablehaven series but set it in Patton's time sharing his stories. He was one of our favorite characters. He said he liked that idea and said it's fans like us that give him good ideas for the future... He said anything more Fablehaven would be the distant future though.

Anyways it was an interesting night, fun and educational... see~ us Spence's aren't just about sports... we try to be well rounded :) haha
