I dont remember that!

So the Young Women's President came over last night to explain a few things to me before presidency meeting next Tuesday. She came at 8 we were thinking she would just be there until about 8:20 ish... she left at 9:20 ish ha ha! She is so nice and seems to be a VERY organized and good President... thing is, I don't remember my second counselor doing all this stuff. All the stuff I have to do is nuts! Organize activities, introduce new girls to the program, get the girls that don't come, to come to church and/or activities. Yikes! I must have been too young to notice everything when I was in Young Women's. This takes a lot of work! Lets hope I can do it all, don't get me wrong I am excited for it, just it will take a lot of time that I am not used to giving up.
ANYWAYS.... I have decided this is what my house is going to end up looking like.

Yesterday I also planted bulbs in my yard. (Thanks to Troy and Tracie for reminding me) I didn't have a spade or a shovel so what did I use? I good sturdy serving spoon. I dug my holes about 8 inches deep and put a BIG bulb at the bottom and a few little ones on top. Well I didn't plan as well as I thought I did because I was putting about 6 bulbs in each hole but the holes are only about a foot apart. Also I dug like crazy in these 2 little areas and then realized that I have a lot more ground to cover. So in short I am going to have one blooming chunk of yard with some definite tapering of to the other side. Hard to explain but I think it will be funny. Other problem is I didn't think about the other side of my driveway so I might have to go buy MORE bulbs for that side! If you saw how many Will gave me you are laughing right now. He probably gave me 150? BUT right now my hands hurt really badly and I have at least five holes to do tonight. We'll see how it all goes! Wish me luck!

The Secret Garden

Last Night Matt and I had the chance the go see "The Secret Garden" at the Hale Center Theatre. It was wonderful! I enjoy plays so much and I am glad that Matt does too. He enjoyed it as well. My boss Cindy got a bad cold (wonder how she got that? ) so she wasn't up to going so she gave her tickets to Matt and I.

The little girl who played Mary Lennox was awesome, her accent was perfect and she never broke character, that must be hard for a 11 year old. The rest of the cast was awesome as well the singing was phenomenal! Almost inspires you to want to be in theatre (close but still no... ha ha)

I think we want to get season tickets for next year. Matt was the one who actually suggested it last night, Yay! How fun! I'll have to look into it I bet they are WAY expensive.... we'll see

Weekend

So this weekend I rented "My Fair Lady" for Matt. He had never seen it so I rented it and he liked it! Really for its educational value, but it was 3 hours long and I forgot that, so I started to get annoyed when Freddy Ainsford-Hill started singing AGAIN... but Matt wouldn't let me fast forward. Now hes been hopping around singing.. "with a little bit o luck, with a little bit o luck" it's funny. If you need to know lyrics that are in an Audrey Hepburn ask Will apparently his mother made him an expert at a very young age.

Saturday we went to the game, It was rainy for parts and beautifully sunny during others. Go Cougs! We won, whew all right lets get back into it! We had a great time at the game and then went over to the Maxwell's for Braxtons birthday party. Sorry we were there for so short a time Matt had to go to his Business review up at the U. Matt said it would probably only be an hour so I went. YIKES 2 and a half hours later it was finishing. Ohh well I learned some new stuff I guess. Then we watched "We are Marshall" decent movie but don't watch it because you like football. There isn't much in there its pretty much a cryer... every 30 minutes or so I was crying. I don't like those types of movies.

Sunday we watched parts of "My Fair Lady" again then went to our one hour of church. Our ward split it was getting HUGE. So it was our first Sunday going to the "new" ward. The Rose point ward which meets at 2 by the way.. that's going to be torture. Well surprise, surprise, a new calling came to me... Second Counsellor in the Young Women's? YIKES! I was only in there a few years ago honestly! It will be fun though. I think the President is great. Matt hasn't gotten a calling yet but I am sure one will be coming soon. The funny thing is when everyone was being set apart yesterday I was the youngest in the room by about 10 years... I don't think this ward really knows how old I am.. Matt and I are young'ns... Whatever.

After church we went over to Kristin and Wills to play and eat. We went over to the park to see how Nate threw discs. Hes not too bad! We then played Ticket to Ride. It reminded me why I don't like playing games. They are so lame when people do things to spite you... well so you think. Anyways Matt ended up winning, Will even tried to help me cheat and I lost. Ohh well.. That's all that is exciting that happened this week. Matt put my jacket on Jason and we thought it was hilarious. I rolled up his sleeves... Does he look like a boxer getting ready for a match? Or a little boy in a dress... we couldn't decide. Kristin has a funnier picture on her blog though, we put Matt's boots on him too!
Ohhh and here is a video of Jason listen close dad hes says it at the end of the clip.

I hope this video works tell me if it doesnt.... i'm a first timer with this program...

Moving...

So here at work we are doing a lot of re~modeling. Our office manager came over to Tori and I's office and said, "You guys need to move all of your stuff into this neighboring office by this afternoon because we are going to be knocking out quite a few walls over here." So we think okay... how will we change the phone lines and e~fax lines and so on.. well anyways about 5 minutes later he says "No, don't move into that office, Sharon Cindy Tori Nate and You all need to move to the 3rd floor in the open area, we'll set you 5 on a table or we'll move your desks up there..." okay so we starting to pack up stuff in our desks... then five minutes later Allan said "No you are still moving to the third floor but your going across the hall into these offices but you wont have to move your desks..." SHEESH! So now I have my whole desk packed up and ready to go at a drop of a hat because I still don't know where I am moving but I do know by mid afternoon the walls to my office will be gone. Ha!

Crazy around here... It looks really nice the parts they have finished though.

Another thing, I made the top ten list of "people who surf the Internet too much at work" list
They said they picked two random days in the last 2 weeks and for the first time I made the list. Darrell came into to tease me about it so I asked which days and they picked he said last Friday and this last Wednesday. WELL I was gone to Jordan's wedding last Friday and on Wednesday of this week I was sick. While I was gone my cousin Conner (Sharon's son) was on my computer and our tech guy unblocked You Tube for him. WELL DUH I MADE THE LIST...There was a preteen on YouTube. So don't worry guys I didn't really make the list. I told Darrell (the owner of the company) that the only place I surf is BYUCougars.com he told me that was an approved site I could go to, then the office Manager Allan walked in and said no its not you can't go there! Ha ha you can tell who are Utah fans and who are BYU fans around here. Anyways those are my adventures for the day.
Also this weekend is homecoming weekend for BYU and they are having a bunch of activities, a fun run for adults but before that the little kids track run. Oh and a pep rally tonight and all this fun stuff right? Well I asked Matt if we could go and he said "Well I'll run with Jason around the cougar stadium..." ahhh wouldn't that be cute Matt running with little Jason.. Jason is so cute when he runs too. Thats why I put that picture up there, anyways...
By the way I am feeling excellent today, not a sniffle to be heard!

Bobbie I have boxes for you but some are being used to move our stuff around. I don't know how many I'll have left by the end of the day. Hopefully 4 legal size paper boxes and 5 regular size paper boxes. We'll see!

So I'm still sick

Sorry all I stayed home from work yesterday because I am sick! Suzanne is sick as well. I still am feeling pretty lousy (more so then yesterday weird) BUT I am back at work today. Lets hope everything is all right and I can make sure everything is taken care of.
I have to admit I am dreading colder weather, I don't like it at all BUT I am really excited for the holidays this year! Matt said once I decorate the house with its "regular" things then I can start concentrating on holiday decorations.
I have seen so much cute stuff that I want to buy! Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! I am excited for everything the season brings too... like Sierra, and Grandma and Grandpa coming home, Good Food, Football, lots of family. Aren't you guys so excited too!?

Well Well Well

Soo here are a few more pictures from the wedding. The first one Jason was pretty hyper on the flight over and LOVED sticking those wings to his forehead. The second one is the view over the bay from the temple. It was actually a really clear day. If you look hard you can see San Fransisco which is weird because its usually smoggy. The third one is Matt in the Sacramento Airport just trying to help out with the luggage. The last two are for your viewing pleasure... ha ha.
On to the news? Jason and Will were getting sick on the way home from the trip... I am pretty sure Jason breathing on me during the flight home the whole way didn't help! I HAVE A COLD! I don't want to be sick so I am still in denial. Besides I have 2 boxes of Kleenex at my desk and some germ-X lets see how the day goes...

Jordan and Michaela's Wedding

Matt and I left on the afternoon of Thursday and flew into Sacramento. Suzanne and Jason joined us as well on the flight. Jason is a good little flyer, and the airline flight attendants loved him so it was a good flight. We spent that night at Ryan's (Matt's mission buddy) apartment along with Braden.
On Friday we hit up the Jelly Belly Factory, picked up Matt's tux, and met up with Colton along the way. We then went over to Santa Cruz to throw 27 holes. We ended up only throwing 24, and I think the course was really really advanced for any beginner (Braden Colton and Ryan) Matt and Will fared a bit better but still it was hard even making par for almost all the holes! We then went over to Walnut Creek and visited my Uncle Tom, his wife Jill, and his two boys left at home, Davey and Ben. It was weird seeing them grown up because I haven't seen them in years! We ate some really yummy Italian food that Jill made for dinner and then we went over to our hotel room.

Saturday we woke up got ready met up with everyone at Tom and Jill's house again and went over to the Oakland Temple. The sealing was really good I hope Jordan and Michaela were listening because some very good and important things were said. Then we stuck around for an hour or so taking pictures and then we went to a quick burger joint for lunch and went over to Turlock for the reception. It was a a really cool old "farm" type house setting. It's not what it sounds like though, it was a really pretty place. Michaela looked GORGEOUS of course and Jordan was dashing. I think everyone had a fun time. Steve even got a little choked up, weird he didnt get choked up and anyone elses wedding... Interesting... We even had time to go Mini golfing! 4 out of 5 weekends we have gone. My Dad won Matt came in a close second. ALSO we were recieving updates from HD on the football scene... YEESH! I cant believe it, there are some crazy things happening in the MWC that is for sure.

Sunday we went to Ryan's Sacrament meeting because he was bringing a few friends to church with him and also we went to go see his little brother Doug speak before he leaves on his mission in a couple weeks. It was a good meeting about missionary work. We then flew home and Nate Suzanne's boyfriend picked us up and we got home I gave Jason a bath and waited for Kristin and Will to pick him up. I felt bad that it was about 11:30 and he still wasn't asleep. If Kristin doesn't post a blog today its my fault. Her son didn't get enough sleep! Sorry! ha ha.

So all and all it was a busy busy weekend and now I feel like I need a vacation from vacationing. BUT now I am back to work! Enjoy the pictures! Ohh and a special thanks the Ryan for driving us all around this weekend that was AWESOME of him!

THANK YOU TRISH!

So.... I had my hair done... and we'll just say it didn't turn out quite how I wanted it. So I called up Trish for an emergency weave and she did an EXCELLENT Job! It looks so much better. There are still a few trouble spots but not by Trisha's doing. My hair is now blond again.. whew... I wasn't ready for a huge change like I thought I was. Next time I'll have to be more specific on what I want then, "Here is a picture, I want that"
ALSO my allergies are still bugging me a ton so I don't think its Alpaca I think it just might be cooler weather. I am going to start taking allergy meds. Both Matt and I were tossing and turning last night and I could hear both of us sniffing all night. Yuck! More to get done for the wedding tonight, A ton of laundry, packing, cleaning, washing. It will be great!

Its questionable....

So my parents went to Peru. SORRY I didn't steal any pictures from her. BUT the funny thing is my parents didn't realize that the Movie "The Emperors New Groove" that Disney did a couple years ago was set in the mountains of Peru.... There is an actual place called Cuzco... and there are a lot of Alpacas!
So my mom got us girls some really cool looking Alpaca sweaters and a bunch of cool Alpaca stuff, which Alpaca is really really soft if you get 100% and you can get it really really cheap down there so if anyone wants stuff have Grandpa and Grandma get it! I know Matt and I will be requesting a few items from what we saw that my parents got. I guess the "first cut" is when the Alpaca is about 2 years old and it is the softest. After that it is still soft but not as soft. But anyways when I tried on my sweater and it left a little bit of hair on my shirt then my eyes started itching... and my nose started running.... and my throat got itchy.... AM I ALLERGIC TO ALPACA????? I hope not... the sweater my parents bought for me is really really warm... its weird it looks thin but its WAY WARM! Anyways... we'll have to see in the future if I really am allergic or maybe something else? I hope its something else!

Also the Peruvian silver is inexpensive and its .95 silver so better that Sterling (.92) My mom got us girls some REALLY pretty jewelry for cheap. Man I wish I could have gone down. It sounds like they had an AWESOME trip!

In other news, Matt, Suzanne, and I are trying to get ready to leave later this week to Jordan's wedding in CA. Sheesh we still don't have our Bridesmaids dresses! BUT Matt called today and they said we would have them today apparently they got to SLC at 7 this morning. Hope they fit and the alterations will be minimal. Suzanne and I bought our shoes last night and are now in search of brown head bands. Any suggestions? We wanted a solid darker brown one that isn't ridiculously thick... that seems to be the fashion but anything thicker than about and inch I deem to thick... Anyways if anyone has seen them around or maybe even has one or two for Suzanne and I to borrow it would be excellent!

Football!

Saturday we went to (my cousin) Conner's football game, of course they won! They are really good. They were much bigger than the opposing team, and were much better coached. I don't know the score, it was a lot to a little. My uncle Jason is and assistant coach and Conner is #40. He's about a head taller then most on his team too.
Then we went over to Will and Kristin's to watch the BYU vs UCLA game... don't want to talk about it... the officiating was horrible. I think BYU had that game and they lost. Understandably BYU wasn't playing to their full potential but at the same time fwd progress is fwd progress... Fumbles are not AFTER So'otos knee hits the ground. SHEESH. Its all good lets hope the rest of the season is better.
Today I pick my mom and dad up from the Airport after their trip from Peru. Maybe tonight she'll share some pictures so I can post them for all the see!

Big Labor Day Weekend!

Friday Kristin, Suzanne, and I, threw a little "spa" party for just the girls. It was over at my house which was fun but I have found my house is a little small for such a large group. But none the less it was still fun. We painted toes and did facials with Bobbies Mary Kay stuff. Sorry i dont know how to rotate pictures... Any help there? Ehh turn your head ;)

Saturday, Sharon came over and got her toes painted in the morning. Also my family was in town to all go to the BYU football game. It was AWESOME! The Cougs won which made it better, 20-7 against Arizona. The 7 that AZ had was scored in the last remaining minutes so it wasn't ever even a close game. I have had a raspy voice ever since the game... ahh the joys of football season. I love it! That night we went to Tucanos for dinner and filled up on Meat!

Sunday we went to church, and my parents flew out to visit my Grandpa and Grandma Coombs in Peru. Haven't heard from them so I hope they got there okay. They come back on Sunday. Matt Suzanne and I also watched once again "The Pelican Brief" and "The In-Laws" Both good shows.

Monday we all slept in Hip Hip Hooray for Labor day! We worked out got a few things done around the house, then Kristin Will and Jason came over to go Frolfing. This time we went to Creekside which is a little further away then Taylorsville. It was fun. Matt and Will tied. Matt likes playing on this ...uhhh thing i don't know what it is. Then we went to Red Robin for a bite to eat. There we met up with Suzanne who went on a "blind date" with a brother in law of some guy that she works with. Tune into Kristin's blog for more on that. We wanted to see my Grandpa and Grandma Bragg too but we never got a hold of them. Guess we'll have to try next weekend. Then we went to this place in West Valley for Mini Golf. We have become mini-golf pro's lately and have a thirst for trying all mini golf courses. Cascade in Orem is by far the best we have experienced. Then we went home and went to bed after "putt putting" as Matt calls it. Good nice long weekend. Now its on to work and school...
